Dr. Kenneth Donovan
Dr. Donovan is originally from Toms River, NJ. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at The College of New Jersey where he graduated cum laude. He then completed his Doctorate at Temple University's School of Podiatric Medicine honors program in Philadelphia, PA. While at Temple, he won several academic awards and graduated in the top of his class. Dr. Donovan completed his residency training at RWJBarnabas in Livingston, NJ, where he participated in over 1200 surgical cases–including bunion, hammertoe, heel, and ankle cases–and achieved the rank of Chief Resident.
Dr. Donovan has been in private practice since 2010, ultimately opening his own practice in 2014. He has performed over 1,000 additional surgical procedures post-residency, and successfully treated over 10,000 patients. Despite finding success in New Jersey, Dr. Donovan moved to South Carolina for a new adventure in 2022, and opened an office in Charleston shortly thereafter. He is eager to provide the same high level of care in the Palmetto State that came to define his practice in the Garden State.
In Dr. Donovan’s spare time, he enjoys running and has run several marathons. This gives him a unique perspective on running and sports related injuries. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children, which accords him the patience needed when treating pediatric patients.
